Life In Paradise is dedicated to fairness and guest safety. Our goal is to make sure all of our guests have a fun and safe vacation while in Port Aransas.

Weather Information and Monitoring

The best weather source for tropical-related storm information is www.nhc.noaa.gov, a government agency that provides factual information without sensationalism.

Life In Paradise is not in the weather prediction business. These situations are always fluid and changes happen quickly.

Unless there is a call for a mandatory evacuation of the city of Port Aransas or Mustang Island, it is business as usual.

Trip Insurance

We always suggest that guests purchase trip insurance to protect their investment from potential interruptions. Standard trip insurance doesn't cover every possible scenario, so guests should refer to their policy or follow this link for more information.

Cancel for any reason is the only real assurance that a guest can cancel for basically any reason.

Guest Cancellation Options

If you choose to cancel your stay, here's what we can do:

1. We will cancel the reservation so others may book in your place.
2. We will refund every dollar related to fees or taxes. The rent amount will not be refunded.
3. If another guest rents for any of the days you previously rented, we will refund you for the same amount that the new guest pays in rent. Please note that last-minute bookings will probably be at a discounted rate, so the amount refunded to you may be less than you originally paid.

Our Commitment to Guests

The only notification that we will send to guests is in the event of a mandatory evacuation.

After Hurricane Harvey, Life In Paradise was one of the few management companies that refunded guests regardless of whether they had purchased trip insurance or not. The culture of our company will always be to do the right thing for our guests.
